Just upgraded to the new TangoCMS beta, it's a bit messed up because of some thingamajigs. I'll have them all sorted out when I get home.

Windowsupdate.com told me to install SP3. I didn't, despite it's 10% speed increase.
More people have told me about SP3's BSoD.

I'm feeling a lot less shaky now, however I keep myself up trying to think of how I could have avoided the whole affair.

I was just reading some of David Byrne's Journal and something caught my eye...
Nazi's invented the Olympic Torch Relay, go ahead and read it. He points out (referring to a news article, read the journal) that a "naked and perfect human specimen" would "hold a javelin while it was lit by a bowl of fire", using this, the Nazis held a similar event.
Just go and read the journal.

OS Patronisation

It all boils down to one statement: "It does what I want"
Evangelos, Alex, Bob - Windows does what I want on my computer. Let me use it.
I don't care how crap you think it is, that's called opinion, but when opinion turns to patronisation it's not OK. So let me use Windows, I have to. Why?
- This computer (the Media Centre) is the family PC. Family's tend to say "What's Nubuntaro?"
- My computer is terrible, Linux will not work as well as an old Windows will on there.
